About Kokoro

Our Name
Our Values
Kokoro, a nuanced Japanese term, extends beyond mere translations of 'heart' or 'spirit.' It represents a blend of thoughts, emotions, and expressions unique to each individual. Encompassing a person's aspirations, accumulated wisdom, and the full spectrum of their emotions, kokoro is the driving force behind every action.
Yet, the essence of kokoro transcends its individual components. It embodies these elements simultaneously, giving each person a distinct 'color' and 'shape' to their being. This uniqueness forms the core of every human, endowing them with unparalleled inner richness. At Kokoro Consultants, we deeply respect and celebrate this uniqueness. We are dedicated to acknowledging and honoring the diverse and special qualities each individual brings to their workplace.
Make HR a Superpower, Not a Chore
HR isn’t just about compliance and payroll. It’s about creating better workplaces where people thrive. We show organizations that HR can be exciting, impactful, and even fun when done right.
Say the Hard Things, Do the Right Things
Transparency, radical candor, and accountability are at the heart of what we do. We push for honest conversations and bold changes, even when it’s uncomfortable.
Break the Mold
HR in the arts has been stagnant for too long. We challenge outdated norms, bring in fresh ideas from other industries, and prove that there’s a better way to support artists and creatives.
Put People Before Process
Technology is a tool, not a replacement for human connection. We embrace innovative solutions while ensuring that HR always keeps real people and their needs at the center.
